This is so beautiful seeing a young man who understands animal behavior at such an early age and wants to do so much for those who can’t speak. Meanwhile, I’m at work watching ungrateful people with pets who lack the patience to understand them or let them come out of their comfort zone on their own terms.

Let’s remember Elijah McClain. A young man who played violin 🎻 to comfort animals at a Colorado shelter. Elijah was killed after a 911 caller reported a "suspicious person". Police stopped McClain, placed him in a chokehold restraint. McClain went into cardiac arrest and died. 😔 🐾 🎻

My nephew used to go to our local humane society and play guitar and sing. He said the dogs would stop barking, lay down and relax. ❤️

my childhood family dog, Buddy, LOVED hearing me play the piano. he was my mom’s dog, but no matter what i played (i wasn’t very good, i was learning basics and just stuff by ear) he would come lay in the living room and listen. i loved that he would do that
