CHP Officer David Torres confirmed Friday morning that the driver of the big rig was badly injured but did survive. Torres said the driver did not suffer a medical emergency, did not have a blown-out tire, and was not under the influence of drugs or alcohol at the time of the crash.

His right steer tire does look like it blew but he should’ve been sent to the right side bcs it blows up and the weight shifts to that side. Doesn’t make sense how this driver went straight to the other side looks intentional

Right steer tire blew. Many truck drivers (and others) usually get hurt or killed when that happens, which is why I tell people to NEVER drive beside a semi. Pass and go or stay behind. Trucks are nothing to play with.

My gosh, i read 2 men pass away,they werent wearing seat belt and got ejected out there cars.Two other victims that are women are seriously injured,this makes me don’t want to drive again. 😭😭😭😭

I’m not 100 percent sure but it almost looks like his right front steer tire blew out and he must of hit the brakes instead of riding it out.
