There are more people out there than I’d like to admit. As an ACO, I have met some horrible people. They will go straight to unaliving them before they ask for someone to take them. Especially cats. I hate it so much. I’m sorry Becky. That is absolutely sickening

I’m just seeing this as of today you need to take one of the deceased cats and get a necropsy to find out whether or not they were poisoned or not outright just poisoning. Animals in most places is illegal due to possible impacts to wildlife. Also, since they are barn cats, they are considered livestock, and they could be held financially responsible for needing to replace those vital animals for your operation. I understand this isn’t always the best way to look at it however, we all know in the United States that pets cats and dogs are not seenas things that are alive but indeed property this is how I could think that you could go about getting some justice for the cats that you so carefully cared for for literally years. I am so sorry you are having to go through this. I hope this advice helps.

That’s BS. I don’t think they can legally do that I mean they did but. The transaction didn’t close yet so they damaged the personal property and it gets tricky cuz she is leasing it so hmm. Def sets bad tone…I’d absolutely be livid

so since Vicki had the cats in the contract can't you guys go after them? and even if you can't go that route I would think you would have a strong animal abuse/neglect case

technically, if the barn cats wernt in some clause on the sale, would they not, by law, still belong to you/previous owner because your still there until August?
