The only acceptable way I've seen it narrowed down was from a fellow gen-z. It's because we're tired. Not specifically physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually. It's all of those combined. We're tired with our entire being. The cause? Older generations dumping us into this mess in the first place.

Some are literally are trying to argue that they shouldn’t have to speak to customers at their job or say hello answering the phone. While I agree it is many things as you mentioned it is also a I don’t owe you anything type of attitude as well. Not every reason they do it is valid on their part.

this is called the customer service stare it is already a thing. it has been around for as long as I can remember. the Gen z stare is when said Gen z stares at someone else BEFORE the interaction even starts, or for no reason.
