@bar7ranch: 🧺👕 If a customer asks us not to put heat‑seal name tags on their clothing, should we upcharge for that extra step? 👉 We’d love your thoughts! #LaundryLife #DryCleaning #SmallBusinessQuestions #CustomerService #ValetCleaners #LocallyOwned #LaundryTips #CleanClothesHappyLife #SupportLocalBusiness #BusinessDecisions #LaundryDayEveryday #LaundryServices #WashAndFold #DryCleaningLife #LaundryExperts
may be more hassle, but what about incorporating the same sort of tracking onto the hanger. pair the hanger with the customer information

Yes. it is costing you more in time labor and materials in the long run. I don't ever "eat" the cost of anything. If a costumer wants your service they will pay.

did you lower the price when you quit doing all that and began with the heat seal? if not, then price is already reflecting that process?

When you switched from the traditional single paper tags did you lower your price to reflect the lack of labor?

I’m curious what their logical reasoning is behind not warning that on their clothes

Question… what happens if I donate my dad’s suits, shirts, etc after he passes and the new owners of the clothes bring them in to be cleaned? The labels identify my dad’s info, right? So the info would have wrong?

Customer service is a huge deal for me. I would pay higher prices, but if I don’t like a tag on my clothes then you should honor that at no extra fee.

If it cost you money then yes if they want to use your services. If it is a significant enough difference to the way that helps you track everything.

Maybe try putting in the fold of the collar so it isn't against the skin. Ask them if that would be acceptable

The ones that don't get a heat seal would mean they aren't regulars and get charged more.
