Khan Khosa :
So the era of Osman Ghazi is ending, and now comes the time of Orhan Ghazi. I just wish Mehmet Bozdağ had presented the drama in such a way that neither would there be sorrow at the end of Osman Ghazi's era, nor pain at the beginning of Orhan Ghazi's new journey.
The truth is, one of the main reasons behind this sadness is that Orhan Ghazi was sidelined way back in Season 6. So just imagine — when the drama about him actually begins, how could they possibly portray him properly?
Honestly, I’ve been heartbroken ever since the Diriliş: Ertuğrul series came to an end. God is my witness — I cried tears of joy, not sadness, because Mehmet Bozdağ presented that story in such a powerful and soulful way that it felt like half of one's soul was living within it.
You can understand the depth of that impact from this alone: when Engin Altan said in an interview, “I wasn’t acting in that drama, I was feeling it.”
Yes, I admit — only once did I ever say “I wish” regarding Diriliş: Ertuğrul, and that was at the end of Season 4 when I said, “I wish the director hadn't written Halime Sultan out.” Later, I found out that the actress left the series forcibly, not willingly — unlike Orhan Ghazi, who was compelled to exit in Season 6.
That was just one wish I expressed during Ertuğrul Ghazi, and it came from the heart. But when it comes to Kuruluş Osman, from Season 1 till the final season, all we’ve been left with are regrets — “I wish they had shown this differently,” or “why didn’t they do it like that?”
In the end, whether one admits it or not, the fault lies with the director. That will always be my belief, no matter what
