I did this at Dillon’s and was fired for this so disclosing a disability can get you fired and it’s not easy to get justice it can be done it takes time and expensive and time consuming. Discrimination is how America is

I wait to disclose after I’ve been hired and ask for accommodation. Please don’t disclose before.. because companies absolutely discriminate against the disabled. That questionnaire you fill out in your application is often a way to filter you out.

I dont tell anyone only my bosses know my issues. Why would I want everyone knowing what's wrong with me when they already think I weird. Im not giving people ammo to make fun of me or call me weak because I have serious mental health issues due to trauma and other things

Get this, my employer is encouraging (forcing) me to apply for long term disability because they don’t want to hold management accountable for what they did to me. Ie. they are making a case that I’m mentally ill rather than take accountability for why I am struggling is my own doing, but I was manipulated, gaslit and provoked .

(Please don't use my comment for any public video replies, ty) but they have ATS scanners and other things set up to ask candidates to disclose disabilities during the application process and you get weeded out before even an interview so another recruiter on here said don't disclose it. When do you tell them???
