@officialnancydrew: the move to sub stack and the rise of “intellectual content creators” means more plagiarism because many are used to surface level and cannot translate to long form. it was so upsetting to read this piece and the app should really be banning users that plagiarize, but i highly doubt that will happen unfortunately #writersoftiktok #plagiarism #influencers
I knew for a long time that I didn’t have my own voice as an artist. I was just repeating ideas and experimenting with things other people had done. I put everything on ice for a while and waited until I felt like I truly had my own point of view and approach. Finally figured it out, and it was so worth it to just wait and not keep trying to push something that isn’t authentically mine.
