Not all Boomers feel that way. There are plenty of us (especially the Jones generation) that know there is climate change, capitalism out of control, and all the other problems. I agree with you.

Absolutely correct. My guess is he is slightly older than I am: I am Generation Jones, on the cusp and raised as Gen X. You will never find a more progressive individuals than I and my Gen X wife. Because we live in California which is generally 10 years ahead of the rest of the United States - we really struggled to make it in San Diego, even though I was a tenured Professor. If my wife had not had & sold a very successful business in Japan, we would not have been able to afford a home here 24 years ago. None of my Gen X or Millennial colleagues could afford a home here. UCSD actually has started providing housing to new hires b/c new professors can’t afford to live here. Our home has currently been appraised at over $1.2M, yet we cannot afford to move now. Houses here sell within days of being listed, with most being sold to investment firms - not individual homeowners. The struggles of GenX & Millennials are very real, and I have spent my career trying to help them earn more through education, mentoring, & activism.
