That’s the core of marketing psychology, humans always choose the path of least resistance. If paying for your offer feels harder than doing nothing, they won’t buy, no matter how “amazing” it is. Your job isn’t to convince, it’s to manipulate perceived resistance. Every purchase is a comparison between two pains: the pain of change and the pain of staying the same. Whoever tilts that scale wins. You lower resistance to your offer with psychological framing: Use anchoring, show a higher price first so your real price feels cheap. Use a decoy, add a worse option to make your main offer look smarter. Add social proof, reduce uncertainty by showing that others already chose you. At the same time, you raise resistance to inaction. Remind them what inaction costs: “You’re wasting money every day you wait.” “You’re getting weaker, slower, and older while doing nothing.” “Your competition is passing you while you’re still deciding.” Nothing about reality changes, only perception does.
