The scent of wet bark and decaying leaves clings to your clothes, and somewhere beneath it all runs the pulse of centuries, wolves, monks, wanderers, all of them still walking with you in some secret way. Here, memory feels heavier, like moss that refuses to die even in frost. Maybe the forest doesn’t reveal or conceal, it simply waits.
