Mix everything well and sauté for two minutes. • Add in the boiled dal and mix. Cook for 10 minutes. • Add water. Mix well and simmer the dal uncovered for 15-20 minutes. Keep on stirring often. • Add butter, 1/2 tsp kasuri methi, 2 chopped green chillies, some ginger julienne and 2 tbsps cream. Mix everything. • In a separate pan, add butter. Once it begins to melt, add chopped garlic, fry for few seconds until it turns golden brown. Add 1 tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder and add it straight to the dal.
