I went to college in the USA. My friends and I were always asking “where are all these colleges parties, and people hooking up left and right” like in the movies. We didn’t live what the movies show about college in the USA

For me it was the other way around! I used to think the movies were exaggerated but then my american bf took me to his old highschool and I was so surprised when there were actually parking spots for the seniors that they could decorate and everything

as an European i have never heard this before. yes people wanted the high school experience, but no Scandinavian has ever thought any of those series and movies was real. we just don't have school sports, cheerleaders and stuff like that
