What I didn't realised until a few months ago is that Jesus was no weak man (speaking about His human side). Yes, He endured all that for our sins, but He lived as a carpenter with Joseph. He worked His whole life a physical job which also prepared Him to gain strength and muscle to endure all of this suffering and I can't help but admire Him even more. I also read another person's perspective that maybe while working as a carpenter He realised the same nails and wood He used to create or build were gonna be used on Him and I cried so hard because He knew. My God is strong and I thank Him for that😭

just the amount of torture He went through before the crucifixion alone should have killed Him. no one other than God could’ve withstood that much blood loss and damage to the body.
