Mind you, after all this, he actually drops specific "rules" extra chapter in part 7 😭🥀. And btw, they are all rules mentioned before throughout the series, like the distance and strength relationship, and hurting them hurts the user. The image is just the first page of the rules, and he broke like all of them before this chapter😭

Jojo Stands are so interesting cause they work as an excellent story telling tool and also just a fun power system all in one. While also just letting Araki really flex his creative muscles in their design, powers and impact to the narrative. They don't always work but the system as a whole is just awesome

What makes him being able to stop time “one of the greatest plot twists in all of shounen anime”? There was no buildup or foreshadowing to him having this ability and it’s revealed slow enough for the audience to understand it before the protagonists. It’s much more of a deus ex machina to make the fight more interesting

I think once you get to JoJolion you just get rid of the graph entirely, one of my favourite parts in the series but the stands in it make even the weirder stands from parts 3-5 seem completely logical and rational
