@uc_travelz: The Imo/ Imoh River is major river in the southeast part of Nigeria, it was used in the shipping of enslaved people from Ikot Abasi, as the area served as a major port for the transatlantic sl@Ve trade. Enslaved individuals captured from the interior around the Cross River Basin were held at a fort in Ikot Abasi before being taken across a "Bridge of no return" to ships waiting in the waters off to unknown destinations.
