It’s a hauntingly beautiful allegory for war. The enlistment process, the age ranges, (the one kid who lied to “recruiters”, the bonding and brotherhood formed, the way they make an example out of “deserters” who tried to escape the Long Walk. I would like to watch it again but I genuinely don’t think I can.
